Program Liaison Francophone
The MCAF Program Liaison Francophone (PLF) program offers settlement services to newcomer francophone and allophone families who choose to integrate into the francophone community and school system.
Goals of the PLF Program
- Provide supports to newcomers and facilitate their successful settlement, integration and participation in francophone schools, culture and community
- Provide culturally sensitive and inclusive services to newcomer students, their families, school staff and community partners
- Support on-going development and maintenance of French language skills (francization) and promote the Fredericton’s minority francophone community population growth through immigration
- Collaborate with community partners to promote diversity and inclusion in the francophone schools and community

We provide newcomer students (elementary to high school) with information, homework help and guidance.
We coordinate enrollment and support children and youth participating in local Francophone Summer Camps.
We collaborate with parents, school administration, community members and partners to help students succeed.
